Prof. Shlomo Ben Haim

MD. Chairman of the Board

Professor Shlomo Ben-Haim is a well-known entrepreneur in the medical technology field with a long record of building successful companies. He has co-founded medical device and biomedical companies in the fields of cardiology, obesity, diabetes, esthetics and cosmetics, anti-viral medications, deep vein thrombosis prevention, therapy for limb ischemia, and post-stroke and sports-injuries rehabilitation. Professor Ben-Haim has held faculty appointments as a Professor of Medicine, Physiology and Biophysics, at both Harvard University and the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

His formal education is in the fields of nuclear physics, mathematics, biomedical engineering, philosophy, and medicine. Prof. Ben-Haim holds over 550 patents and patent applications, and has published his research in over 200 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is also the recipient of a long list of prizes for his research and inventions.


Simos Kedikoglou

MD, CFA, MBA Strategy Board

Simos is a board member of Motorika Limited and was previously a Corporate Vice President of Business Development for Boston Scientific with responsibility for acquisitions, licensing and distribution deals in the US, Europe and Asia. Prior to Boston Scientific, Simos was an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company in the US, focusing on mergers & acquisitions and has advised clients in completed pharmaceutical and medical device deals with a combined value of $45 billion. Simos holds a Medical Degree from the University of Athens, Greece, an MBA with distinction and a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard University. Simos is a CFA Charter holder.


James Keyes


James is a board member of Motorika Limited and Bermuda resident and citizen. He was a partner for Appleby, the offshore law firm, for eleven years until he retired from the firm in 2008. He joined Appleby in 1993 and was team leader of the Funds & Investment Services Team. Prior to Appleby, he was employed in the Corporate Department of Freshfields law firm, and worked in London, New York and Hong Kong offices. Mr. Keyes attended Oxford University in England as a Rhodes Scholar and graduated with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (M.A. with Honours) in 1985. He was admitted as a non-executive director of a number of funds and companies. He is also managing director of Renaissance Capital, the emerging markets investment group. He became a Notary Public in 1988.
